Polina Eidelman Ph.D

ImagePolina Eidelman (PSB-35954) received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California Berkeley. While at UC Berkeley, Dr. Eidelman provided therapy and assessment services to adults and children at the UC Berkeley Psychology Clinic and at Clearwater Counseling and Assessment Services. She also worked as a graduate student instructor and supervised undergraduate research assistants. Dr. Eidelman completed her clinical internship at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System, where she worked with veterans as an individual and group therapist in outpatient, inpatient, and residential settings. Currently, Dr. Eidelman treats adults with mood disorders (e.g., depression, bipolar disorder), insomnia, and anxiety disorders (e.g., obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety). Her research has focused on bipolar disorder and sleep disturbance, and her dissertation work addressed the impact of social relationships on the well-being of bipolar individuals. She has published articles in peer-reviewed psychology journals (e.g., Journal of Behavior Therapy and Experimental Psychiatry) as well as book chapters (e.g., in The Oxford Handbook of Sleep and Sleep Disorders). Dr. Eidelman aims to provide empirically supported treatments to her clients with a focus on their individual goals, needs, and values.
