Our mission is to provide top-quality, empirically-supported, ethical, and compassionate care to our patients in order to help them accomplish their personal goals to lead happier and more productive lives.
What We Do
The psychologists at the Center provide individual and couples therapy to adults, adolescents and children. We treat anxiety disorders (including: panic and agoraphobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, and worry and stress), depression, ADHD, Asperger's disorder, trichotillomania (hair-pulling & skin-picking) and other impulse control disorders, sexual dysfunction, nicotine dependence, eating disorders (including: bulimia and overeating disorder), perfectionism and procrastination, relationship and interpersonal problems, personality disorders, and related problems and disorders. We do not currently provide group therapy.
Location
The office is located in the Rockridge section of north Oakland, three blocks south of the Rockridge BART station, behind the Diesel Bookstore. Enter the office area via an outdoor corridor just to the right of Diesel Books (as you face the bookstore). (click for map)

Parking
Four-hour parking is generally available on the residential side streets near the office. There is metered parking on College Avenue. A parking lot is available at The Levant rug store across the street from the office; the charge is $5 in quarters or bills (payable on exiting the lot).
